Cancel Audeus Subscription
We hate to see you go, but we believe in transparent, hassle-free cancellations. You can cancel your Audeus Pro subscription at any time to prevent future auto-renewal charges.
Crucial Note: How you cancel depends entirely on where you originally purchased your subscription.
If You Subscribed via the Web
For web-based plans, cancellations are managed through our billing dashboard:
- Log into your account on the Web Reader.
- Click your profile icon in the navigation bar and select Settings, or navigate directly to Billing Settings.
- If your plan is currently active, click the Manage Subscription button to open the customer billing portal, then select Cancel Plan.
- If your plan is currently past due because of a failed payment, click the Cancel Subscription button directly on the settings page, then click Confirm Cancellation in the popup.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the change.
If You Subscribed via Apple (iPhone/iPad)
Apple controls all iOS App Store billing directly. We cannot cancel these subscriptions for you:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your Apple ID profile name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Audeus from the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If You Subscribed via Google Play (Android)
Google handles Android app subscriptions directly. We cannot manage these cancellation requests:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Payments and subscriptions, then select Subscriptions.
- Select Audeus from the list.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.
What Happens After I Cancel?
When you cancel, you do not lose access immediately:
- Retain Pro Access: Your Audeus Pro account features will remain fully active until the end of your current active billing cycle.
- Downgrade to Free Plan: Once the billing cycle ends, your account will downgrade to the Free plan, and standard caps will apply to your listening sessions and AI chat queries.
- Library Safety: Your uploaded documents, notes, highlights, and custom voices will remain securely stored in your library.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose access to Audeus Pro features immediately after canceling? No. When you cancel your subscription, you are turning off future auto-renewals. You will retain full access to all Audeus Pro features, including high-quality voices and AI document chat tools, until the very end of your current paid billing period. You do not forfeit any of the time you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund for unused subscription time? Cancellations stop future auto-renew charges. Audeus does not offer prorated refunds for unused billing periods. You will continue to have full access to your Pro features until the end of your paid billing period.
How do I know if my cancellation was successful? After canceling, your subscription details under Billing Settings will show the date your plan is scheduled to end instead of a next renewal date. You will also receive a confirmation email from our billing system, Apple, or Google depending on the store you purchased from.
Can I turn auto-renew back on after canceling? Yes. If your subscription is still in the cancellation-pending state, you can click resubscribe or renew in your account settings. If your plan has already expired, you can upgrade your account to Pro again at any time.
If I cancel my subscription, does it delete my Audeus account? No. Canceling only turns off recurring billing and returns your account to the Free plan.
